Thanks to the wonderful food guru that is Elly at HP, I tried eating some healthier (but yummy!) foods at Knockhill this March.

It was my first outing in Emilia the Mini so vital that my energy levels didn't drop throughout the day as I needed to take on board the mass of information being thrown at me. By eating some of Elly's recommendations, and by dropping some of the previous snacks I used to reach for on race weekends, I found my energy levels stayed more consistent throughout the day and didn't spike and drop like they used to. Success! Thanks Elly!

Since this, I have really been getting into the healthy food scene and am now making healthier choices on a daily basis. These changes have not only been benefiting my performance in the gym, but also my mood, outlook and my skin!

Although I admit my diet is far from perfect yet, I can 100% see the benefits from a few small alterations to my daily routine and so am looking forward to experimenting further with the help of Harper Performance. Today I made a healthier version of a yummy treat - banana pancakes! I would highly recommend. I tried the blueberry versions and topped with some 0% fat Greek yoghurt, honey and berries!
